Measure the distance across the width of the dog's foot, then add 1/4 to that measurement. So if your dog's foot is 2 wide, you're measurement would be 2 1/4, and you'd need a Small. Or - You can press the dog's foot down on a piece of paper, and mark lines on either side of the dogs foot, then measure the distance between the two lines. Then add 1/4 to that measurement.
